Middleburg, Western Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning- Issued: 12:26 PM EST Mar. 1, 2017 by the National Weather Service.

Radar indicated high winds of 60 mph and hail measuring 3/4″ with the approaching storm.

Precautionary/preparedness actions to take:

Get indoors to protect yourself from wind and lightning. Trees around you may be downed from damaging winds, so if you are near large trees, move to an interior room on the lowest floor. Don’t drive underneath trees or in wooded areas until the threat has passed.
