Time to start shucking, you are not going to have to go all the way to the Bay to get good oysters, not even to Leesburg. Rick Allison long time restauranteur and proprietor of King Street Oyster Bar in Leesburg has set his sites on the old Home Farm building in the center of Middleburg.

Middleburg Councilman Peter Leonard and Vincent Bataoel had been working on the deal for a few months. The detail on the exact timing for the opening have not been released. More to come as it comes in.

  1. This is great news! Last night I was working late at UnStable Arts (around 8:00) and two visitors who were staying at Salamander came in and asked why there were no other places open to browse and enjoy! They loved the exhibit, and I was so glad I happened to stay open late. Maybe the new restaurants and Oyster Bar will keep people after 5:00!!!
